During my pregnancy, I loved seeing how much my friends and family wanted to help out and be involved. By making a baby registry, I could provide them with the perfect way to help them know exactly what would help me out the most.
I personally didn’t start making my baby registry until the 2nd trimester, but you can make one as early as you want. Generally, it's a good idea to have it done before the baby shower (if you plan to have one) so that guests have plenty of time to choose a gift.
I made sure to put in items that varied in price so everyone could choose something they were comfortable with. Another useful trick that I used was that I requested different brands of products. This way we could see what products best suited our baby.
If you're looking for a great way to get a head start and help out your pregnant partner (i.e., give her the "90% solution"), below is a list of the type of things we were recommended for our baby registry! (These are meant to be ideas and not all links will have the option to add to a registry, but for those that do have the option I've included a picture as my partner and I came to learn the process wasn't as intuitive as you would think -_-)
